This Privacy Policy explains how Khanh Nguyen Law Office, LLC ("KNN Law Office," "we," "us") handles information in connection with our website at knnlawoffice.com. Our separate policy covering client communication over WhatsApp is available here.

1. This website does not track you

We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, social media pixels, session recording, or any other third-party tracking technology on this website. We do not set cookies. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not use information from this website for advertising.

Because we do not track visitors, there is nothing to opt out of and no consent banner is required. Browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) are honored by default, in the sense that this site performs none of the collection or sharing those signals are designed to stop.

2. Information we collect

Information you send us. We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us - for example when you email us, call us, send a text message or WhatsApp message, or otherwise contact our offices. This may include your name, contact details, and information about your legal matter.

Technical information. Our website is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Like nearly all web hosting, it may generate standard server logs containing information such as IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, and browser type. These logs are used only to operate and secure the site.

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry, to provide legal services and advice, and to manage our relationship with our clients. We do not use it for any unrelated purpose.

4. We do not sell or share your personal information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or any comparable purpose. We have never done so, including in the past twelve months.

5. Confidentiality and disclosure

As a law firm we are bound by strict professional obligations of confidentiality. We do not disclose personal information outside the firm except:

  • to service providers who support our practice and are bound to protect the information;
  • as authorized by you or by the terms of a signed retention agreement;
  • where required by law, legal process, or a lawful request from a government agency.

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to a law practice to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and email and text message in particular are not secure channels - please do not send sensitive documents or information by email or text unless we have asked you to.

This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.

11. No attorney-client relationship

Sending us information through this website, by email, or by text message does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information sent before we have agreed to represent you may not be treated as confidential. An attorney-client relationship is created only by a signed retention agreement. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
